To Live Again
by Sharon Wang a dancer from the Bay Area

Shattered dreams
And intoxicated reality
My life
My happiness
All taken away...
The doctor says
"One day..."
Only--it's never
If only I could
Live again
Try again
Be me one more time
Next time around
No more tears
No more mistakes
I'll be whole
True to my soul
I'll listen
I won't be missin'
ANYTHING
For I'll be Queen
The Supreme
And Redeem
My Sanity
With a life
So beautiful
All will hail me
Try to unveil me
But I will hide
In my self pride
They'll huff and puff
When I turn my head away
While they snuff me out
There will be no more self doubt
