Sites Hosting Collaborative Opportunities for Educators:

  1. Crossroads Syllabus Library: View and share American Studies course syllabi with folks teaching similar classes across the country. Site is hosted by the American Studies Crossroads Project, Georgetown University
  2. Nicknacks Telecollaborate Site: Facilitates collaboration among teachers around the world (see sample projects)
  3. PedagoNet: Exchange learning resources with other educators
  4. Collaborative Lesson Archive: Search through lessons submitted by other educators, or submit your own lesson plan for others to consider
  5. ThinkQuest: Hosts contests among both educators and students to create useful educational Internet resources. Offers financial awards for contest winners.
  6. Multicultural Song Index: A collaborative project for which educators from around the world compiled a list of diversity-related songs to use in the classroom for introducing discussions on racism, sexism, ageism, classism, etc.
